Thunder Breathing

As the former Thunder Hashira, Jigoro was a formidable swordsman in his prime before losing his leg in battle and retiring to train students like Zenitsu Agatsuma and Kaigaku in Thunder Breathing. He died protecting Zenitsu from a demon attack that killed the rest of his dojo.

Jigoro is a short, elderly man with a scarred left cheek, bushy eyebrows, a large moustache, and a wooden peg leg from a battle injury. He wears a traditional jinbei kimono befitting a retired Hashira.

Devoted and strict, Jigoro poured himself into training the next generation of swordsmen, showing deep affection beneath his demanding exterior. He was left heartbroken upon learning that his student Kaigaku betrayed the Corps to become a demon.
