Nezuko's demon blood grants rapid regeneration, enhanced strength, and an unusually fast growth rate compared to other demons. Her Blood Demon Art manifests as combustible, flame-like blood she can ignite against enemies, and during the Entertainment District arc she unlocks a berserker Awakening state that dramatically amplifies her size and power.

Nezuko appears as a youthful girl with long black hair fading to orange, sharp fanged teeth, and pink eyes, wearing a bamboo muzzle to restrain her bloodlust in public. She travels carried in a wooden box by Tanjiro and wears an altered version of the Demon Slayer uniform.

Despite becoming a demon, Nezuko retains the warmth and protectiveness she had as a human, treating Tanjiro's companions like family and repeatedly risking herself to shield others from harm. She communicates mostly through gestures and muffled sounds, conveying a gentle, nurturing demeanor beneath her fearsome strength.
