As the second-oldest Kamado son, Takeo has no combat training; his role in the family was as a responsible, watchful older brother to his younger siblings.

Takeo has short spiky black hair like his older brother Tanjiro and father, along with the family's pale complexion and dark red eyes. He bears a beauty mark beneath his right eye like his mother, and lacks Tanjiro's forehead scar.

More serious and stern than the rest of his family, Takeo is nonetheless deeply caring, showing visible dismay whenever Tanjiro must leave for town and worrying over his older siblings' wellbeing.
