Teiko had no combat ability; she was among the younger Shinazugawa children who depended on their mother and older brothers for protection.

Teiko is a girl of average height with light skin, black hair tied in a bow, and large almond-shaped purple eyes closely resembling her brother Sanemi. She wears a mint green kimono lined with white stripes and tied with a lime green obi.

Caring and loving like her siblings, Teiko doted on her mother and could not bear to watch her father's violent outbursts, looking to her brother Genya for comfort during the family's darkest night.
