Tetsumotonaka is a working swordsmith who forges Nichirin blades for the Corps and helps guard the village's stockpile of swords during moments of crisis.

Tetsumotonaka wears the standard hyottoko mask of the Swordsmith Village, his marked by short bushy eyebrows, along with a yellow haori striped in black, baggy black pants, and a gray scarf wrapped around his head.

Loyal to his village and compassionate at heart, Tetsumotonaka is moved to tears upon witnessing Tanjiro's emotional reunion with Nezuko, and helps tend to the wounded after the village comes under attack.
