Emoji Riddle

Emoji Riddle turns the Demon Slayer cast into picture puzzles. Each day a character is described with five emojis, and your job is to work out who they stand for. A wave might hint at Water Breathing, a butterfly at the Butterfly Mansion, a lightning bolt at a certain terrified swordsman. It plays like a quick demon slayer quiz where the questions are written in symbols.

The catch is that you start with only one emoji. Every wrong answer reveals the next clue, so a sharp first read is rewarded. There are two daily riddles, Easy and Hard, each with its own answer, streak and leaderboard. Many characters have more than one emoji set, so even a character you have solved before can come back with a completely different riddle.

Choose Easy or Hard. Five tiles sit on the board, but only the first emoji is showing. Type at least two letters of a name, pick a character from the suggestions and submit. You have five guesses in total.

A correct guess wins immediately and flips all five emojis face up. A wrong guess is marked in red under the board and uncovers one more emoji, so by your final guess you are looking at the whole riddle. The counter under the tiles shows how many clues are visible, and the dots show how many attempts you have used.

Five misses, or giving up, reveals the answer with the full set of emojis. Each mode resets at midnight UTC and cycles through every character in its pool before any of them repeat. Solve it while signed in and your attempts and solve time go on that mode's daily leaderboard.

Most sets follow a rough pattern: a signature element or weapon, a personality trait, and a visual detail such as hair, a mask or a haori. Water, fire, wind, stone, mist and flowers often point to a breathing style, which instantly narrows the answer to a small group of slayers. Ice, threads, drums or sleep lean toward a Blood Demon Art, which means you are probably hunting a demon.

Think about the story, too. A box, a boar, a snake or a butterfly are strong character symbols, and a mix of family and tragedy emojis often points to someone whose backstory was revealed in a flashback, like the Upper and Lower Moons of the Twelve Kizuki. Mood emojis like tears, a smile or a blank face separate characters who share a technique.

Do not guess on the first emoji unless it is truly unmistakable. One extra reveal usually costs less than a wasted attempt, especially on Hard, where the answer might be a Kakushi, a swordsmith or one of the Ubuyashiki children rather than a fighter.
