Higher or Lower is the fastest of the Demon Slayer games online at kimetsudle: two character cards sit side by side, the left one shows its Total Concentration score, and you decide whether the character on the right scores higher or lower. Every slayer, demon, swordsmith and Kasugai crow has a rating, so a single run can jump from Muzan Kibutsuji to Goto of the Kakushi in two cards.

It is built as a daily score attack: one timed two-minute run a day, ranked on the daily leaderboard. Afterwards, Classic mode opens up for practice with no clock at all.

How to Play Demon Slayer Higher or Lower

Look at the character on the left and their Total Concentration number, shown as TC, then press Higher or Lower for the character on the right. A correct call reveals the hidden number, adds a point to your score and streak, and the right-hand card becomes the new reference. Two characters with the same rating are never paired, so there is always a right answer.

The daily run lasts two minutes. A wrong answer normally ends it, but each day you also hold one spare life. Miss while you still have it and the clock pauses while you choose: spend the life to keep this run going with a new pair, or save the run as it stands. As your score climbs you earn ranks, from Mizunoto Recruit through the lower slayer ranks to Hashira at 23 points, Upper Moon at 30, Demon King at 38 and Chosen by the Sun at 47.

Once the daily attempt and its life are spent, you get two Classic runs for the rest of the day. Classic has no timer and one extra life per run, and it does not post to the daily leaderboard. Plays reset at midnight UTC.

Tips for Longer Higher or Lower Streaks

Learn the top of the ladder first. Muzan sits alone at the peak, followed by Yoriichi Tsugikuni and Kokushibo, and the surviving Upper Moons rate above most of the Hashira. Gyomei Himejima is the strongest active Hashira, but several Kizuki such as Doma, Akaza and Hantengu still edge past him. If the left card is an Upper Moon, Lower is usually the safe call.

The scale is steep rather than even. The numbers grow exponentially, so the gap between two Hashira can be tens of thousands of points while the whole civilian cast is squeezed near the bottom. Tanjiro, Nezuko and the other Mizunoto-ranked heroes of the later arcs rate surprisingly high, while unnamed swamp or temple demons and the Butterfly Mansion girls rate low.

Do not waste the clock. Every second spent on an easy pair is a second you cannot spend on a hard one, so trust your first read when a Hashira meets a villager and save your thinking for close calls, such as two Hashira, two Lower Moons or a Hashira against a Kizuki.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Total Concentration in Higher or Lower?

It is the site's power rating for each Demon Slayer character, shown as a TC number. Higher means stronger, with Muzan Kibutsuji at the top of the scale.

How long is a Higher or Lower run?

The daily run has a two-minute timer. Classic runs, which unlock after the daily, have no timer.

What happens when I guess wrong?

If you still have your daily spare life, you can spend it to continue the same run with a new pair. Without a life, the run ends and your score is saved.

How many times can I play per day?

One daily run, plus a second attempt paid for with the spare life if you did not use it mid-run, and then two Classic practice runs.

Does Classic mode count on the leaderboard?

No. Only the daily run is ranked on the daily leaderboard, though Classic runs still add to your stats.
