Kimetsudle is the daily Demon Slayer character guesser this site is named after, and the game most fans mean when they search for a demon slayer dle. One of 118 slayers, demons and villagers is hidden each day, and you have eight attempts to guess the Demon Slayer character. Every miss still helps, because each guess is compared with the answer across eight categories.
There are two separate dailies, Easy and Hard. Easy draws from the cast an anime watcher recognises on sight: Tanjiro and his friends, every Hashira past and present, the mentors, Muzan and the named members of the Twelve Kizuki. Hard covers everyone else, from minor demons to the Ubuyashiki children and the Swordsmith Village. Each mode has its own answer, streak and leaderboard.
How to Play Kimetsudle
Type at least two letters of a name and pick a character from the suggestions, or press Enter to take the first one. Suggestions search the full roster in both modes, so they never give the answer away. Your guess appears as a row of tiles: Species, Gender, Rank, Affiliation, Family, Arc, Awakening and Total Concentration.
A green tile means the attribute matches the hidden character, and a red tile means it does not. Rank is the only column that can turn orange, which happens when your guess sits one step away on the rank ladder: Civilian, Mizunoto and the other Corps ranks, then Demon, Lower Moon, Hashira, Upper Moon and finally Demon King. The Total Concentration tile shows your guess's power value with an arrow pointing up if the answer is stronger and down if weaker, and turns green only on an exact match.
Hints unlock as you play. After three guesses you can reveal the answer's affiliation, after five a blurred portrait, and after seven the first letter of their name. The puzzle resets at midnight UTC, and signed-in players who solve it are ranked on that mode's daily leaderboard by attempts and time.
Tips for Solving Kimetsudle in Fewer Guesses
Open with a character who splits the roster cleanly. Species alone separates humans from demons, and Affiliation then tells you whether you are dealing with the Demon Slayer Corps, the Twelve Kizuki, an unaffiliated demon like the ones from Mount Natagumo, or a civilian group such as the Ubuyashiki Family or the Swordsmith Village. A well-known Hashira like Giyu Tomioka makes a solid Easy opener.
Read the power arrow like a binary search. If the arrow points up from a Mizunoto slayer, jump straight to a Hashira or an Upper Moon instead of climbing slowly. Family is worth watching too: most characters have none, so a green Family tile is a huge clue, pointing at a clan like the Kamado, Rengoku, Shinazugawa or Ubuyashiki.
Awakening is a rare yes. Only a handful of characters carry it, among them marked slayers like Tanjiro, Muichiro and Mitsuri and demons such as Daki and Gyutaro, so a green Yes narrows the field fast. A green Arc tile cuts deep too.
