Technique Guessr is the daily demon slayer quiz for fans who watch the fights frame by frame. Each day the page shows an animated clip of a technique in action, a named Breathing Style form or a Blood Demon Art, and you have to name both the character who used it and the exact technique. Getting one half right is not enough: the guess only counts when both match.

The catalogue covers moves from the anime, through the Infinity Castle, from Tanjiro's Water Breathing and Hinokami Kagura to Zenitsu's Thunderclap and Flash, Shinobu's Insect Breathing dances, Tengen's Sound Breathing and the Blood Demon Arts of the Twelve Kizuki. It is one of the more demanding demon slayer games online, because a single character can have several forms in the list.

Watch the clip at the top of the page. In the Character field, type at least two letters and pick a name from the suggestions; the list only contains characters who have at least one technique in the game. Then open the Ability dropdown and choose the technique name, such as a numbered Water Breathing form, and press Submit Guess.

You have three attempts. Each guess is added to a history list that marks the character and the technique separately with a check or a cross, so you can see which half was right. If you miss, the frame flashes red and you go again. Get both correct in the same guess and you win.

Run out of attempts, or give up, and the answer appears over the clip. There is one puzzle per day for everyone, it resets at midnight UTC, and the game cycles through the whole catalogue before any clip repeats. Signed-in winners are ranked on the daily leaderboard by attempts and time, and your streak grows with every solve.

Start with the colour and the effect. Breathing Style animation in Demon Slayer is drawn in the style of its element: flowing blue water for Water Breathing, gold lightning for Thunder Breathing, pink ribbons for Love Breathing, pale mist for Mist Breathing. That usually tells you which family of forms you are looking at before you even identify the swordsman.

Use the character check to your advantage. If your first guess comes back with the right character but the wrong technique, you know exactly whose forms to choose from next. Water Breathing is the tricky one, because Tanjiro, Giyu and their teacher Sakonji Urokodaki all use it, so look at the haori before committing.

The dropdown is sorted alphabetically and most names begin with their style, like Sound Breathing or Blood Demon Art, while Akaza's moves are listed under Destructive Death. Scroll to the right style, then look at the form number and name. Big sweeping motions often mean an early form, while calm or unusual effects, like Giyu's Dead Calm, are usually the later and more unique ones.
