Nichirin Wordle is the demon slayer wordle on this site: the classic letter-guessing game, but every hidden word is the first name of a Demon Slayer character. One round it might be a Hashira like Sanemi or Gyomei, the next an Upper Moon like Akaza or Doma. You get six rows to spell the name, and the coloured tiles show you how close each attempt came.

Because the answers are names rather than dictionary words, the length changes from round to round. The grid resizes itself to fit and a banner above it tells you how many letters today's name has. Choose Easy to draw from the famous faces, or Hard to face the deeper cast of Kimetsu no Yaiba. Each difficulty gives you one game per day, and each round draws its own name at random, so your word is not necessarily the one your friends got.

How to Play Nichirin Wordle

Type letters with your keyboard or the on-screen keys and press Enter to lock in the row. Only complete rows of the right length are accepted, but there is no word-list check, so any combination of letters is a legal guess.

After each row the tiles change colour. Green means the letter is in the name and in the right spot, yellow means the letter is in the name but somewhere else, and gray means it does not appear at all. Repeated letters are only coloured as many times as they actually occur. The keyboard tracks every letter you have used.

Three hints sit above the board. After your third row the character's rank unlocks, after your fourth their affiliation, and after your fifth a technique hint telling you whether they are a Breathing Style user, a Blood Demon Art user, or have no special technique. Six misses reveal the character along with their portrait.

Strategies for Solving the Demon Slayer Wordle

Let the letter count do the first round of filtering. Rui and Enmu are short, Tanjiro, Kyojuro and Shinobu share seven letters, and Muichiro has eight, so the count alone rules out most of the cast.

Demon Slayer names are romanised Japanese, so vowels carry most of the weight. A, O, U and I show up constantly, and consonants such as K, S, T, N, R and M cover most of the rest. Letters like L, V, X and Q basically never appear. A throwaway opening row packed with A, O, U, K and S usually tells you more than guessing a real name straight away.

Save the hints for when you have a pattern. Knowing the answer is a Hashira who uses a Breathing Style is not much on its own, but combined with a green G in first position it points almost straight at Giyu or Gyomei. The affiliation hint is especially strong on Hard, where Kakushi, Swordsmith Village and Butterfly Mansion names are common.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Nichirin Wordle the same as Kimetsudle?

No. Kimetsudle compares character attributes like rank and affiliation, while Nichirin Wordle has you spell the character's first name letter by letter in six rows.

Is the answer always five letters?

No. The answer is a character's first name, so the length changes. The grid always matches the current name and a banner shows how many letters it has.

Do my guesses have to be real names?

No. Any letters of the correct length are accepted, so you can spend a row testing common letters.

How many games can I play per day?

One per difficulty, so you can play one Easy round and one Hard round each day. The limit resets the next day.

What hints does the demon slayer wordle give?

Rank after three rows, affiliation after four, and whether the character uses a Breathing Style or a Blood Demon Art after five.
